The University of Illinois belongs to all the people of Illinois. True to its 153-year old land-grant tradition, it serves Illinois citizens from Chicago to Cairo, Quincy to Kankakee.
The University of Illinois System Public Engagement Portal combines ALL public engagement opportunities offered by the three universities — Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield — as well as the University of Illinois System Offices. This project seeks to maximize the visibility of as well as minimize the reporting workload of public engagement programs and events and was funded by University Academic Programs and Services.
University of Illinois Universities
This University of Illinois System-wide collaboration is based on the Public Engagement Portal (PEPortal), developed by the Office for Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education (MSTE) in the College of Education at the U of I at Urbana-Champaign. That project was coordinated and funded by the Office of Public Engagement at Urbana-Champaign to create and maintain the most comprehensive source for information about public engagement programs, events, and resources offered by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
