The CHANCE Program Saturday College is a comprehensive 12-week instructional program designed for high school students who have a SINCERE interest in attending UIC and will prepare them for the transition to college and the placement exam.

The goal of Saturday College Program is to provide an arena where senior high school students (and selected Juniors)are exposed to college-level courses, college placement exams, and much more.

The program meets each Saturday beginning in the Spring on the UIC campus and prepares students for their academic transition into college. The curriculum consists of English and Math courses taught by UIC Faculty, along with access to cultural enrichment opportunities, service learning projects, and various personal enrichment workshops.

Access to this "real-word" college setting experience has the potential to strengthen students' academic skills in these select areas, and ease their transition into college.
