The University of Illinois Center for Economic and Financial Education is affiliated with the Council for Economic Education (CEE) and is part of a national network of university centers dedicated to increasing economic and financial literacy nationally and internationally. 

Established in 1956, the U of I Center is the oldest continuously active center in the NCEE network and is located in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois. For over 50 years, the Center has been a leading provider of economic and financial programs, services, and research in both the state of Illinois and nationally.

On the Center for Economic and Financial Education web site you can download educational materials, research papers, and learn more about upcoming seminars and training events. You will also find The Journal of Consumer Education (JCE) a leading consumer research journal dedicated to the advancement of consumer education for all members of society.
