Resource Room Information

Many different types of materials are available in the The Autism Program (TAP) Resource Room. All of their materials are free, and can be customized to meet individualized needs. TAP staff and student interns are available to meet in person or via phone/email to collectively brainstorm creative problem-solving solutions. Many of their materials can also be translated to Spanish. These materials include:

  • Books and DVD’s for checkout
  • Teaching kits containing structured teaching activities for checkout
  • Learning aids
  • Flyers, articles, brochures, and booklets from local, state, and national organizations which are free to the public

Online Resource Room Information

The online resource room connects you to services available from the comfort of your own home. In addition to browsing their library, check their list of favorite resources (all of which can be checked out from the resource room at no cost). TAP can make just about anything we (or you) can imagine. Browse through some of the visual supports they’ve made to get ideas. In the online resource room, they also have answers to common questions and research briefs that get updated on a regular basis. They hope you find what you need either online or by visiting them in person. If you can’t find what you need on their webpage, check out their list of awesome websites that might have what you need. And finally, don’t forget to check their current programs, information about area resources, and research participant opportunities while you’re on their site. The online resource room also provides New Diagnostic Information and an online video library.
